The UFC’s return to Madison Square Garden will feature three championship bouts on the main card, with the middleweight, bantamweight and women’s strawweight titles all set to be defended

The UFC will make its second trip to Madison Square Garden on November 4th for UFC 217, with the long-awaited return of Georges St Pierre slated to headline the event as the Canadian returns to challenge British middleweight champion Michael Bisping for the 185lbs championship

Filling the co-main event spot is a bantamweight title fight as titleholder Cody Garbrandt takes on second-ranked former champion TJ Dillashaw, with the bout originally-scheduled for UFC 213 in July, however the fight had to be scrapped due to an injury sustained by Garbrandt

The third of the three title fights slated for UFC 217 is a women’s strawweight championship bout with Polish divisional champion Joanna J?drzejczyk is set to defend against Australia’s Rose Namajunas with J?drzejczyk entering the fight looking to extend her 14 fight undefeated record in addition to attempting to defend her title for the sixth time

Rounding out the four-fight main card is a welterweight tilt between American former title challenger Stephen Thompson and fellow American Jorge Masvidal with both competitors looking to bounce back from defeats last time out
