All-time great Anderson Silva has tested positive for a banned substance and is out of his November 25th fight against Kelvin Gastelum

The UFC itself has reported that it was informed of the violation, with the test being administered on October 26th, though the actual substance Silva failed for has not been specified

This is the second time Silva has been flagged for a failed test, having been flagged back in January 2015 following his victory over Nick Diaz and served a one year suspension

Brazilian Silva, forty-two years old, has been provisionally suspended by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) pending further information and confirmation

The former long-time middleweight champion was scheduled to fight Kelvin Gastelum in the main event of Fight Night 122 from Shanghai, China, with the event being the first show in the major Chinese city, with the promotion now looking for a replacement for Silva to face Gastelum
