A lightweight fight has been added to UFC on Fox 7 as Anthony Njokuani looks set to take on Roger Bowling.

A twelve fight veteran under Zuffa ran promotions; Anthony Njokuani (15-7-0-1NC) comes into this one desperately in need of a win. Although he is always an entertaining fighter, something the UFC like in fighters, he has only one three times in his last eight bouts so another loss could leave him in a precarious position considering how big the division is. Njokuani is a superb striker and possesses a lot of knockout power. He has eight stoppages to his name, with all eight coming by way of (T)KO.

Entering the UFC for the first time in his career, former Strikeforce welterweight Roger Bowling (11-3-0) hopes to get a good start in the promotion as he moves down to lightweight. During his time in Strikeforce he was involved in some entertaining fights and was involved in the promotion’s first ever trilogy. Like Njokuani, Bowling has some great striking with knockout power but he has also shown an ability to submit opponents as well. He has nine career finishes, with seven coming by (T)KO and two by submission.

UFC on Fox 7: Henderson vs. Melendez takes place 20th April from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California and is headlined by a lightweight title fight between Benson Henderson and Gilbert Melendez.
