Yet another welterweight fight has been added to this March’s UFC 158 as Dan Miller has been booked to welcome Jordan Mein to the UFC.

Currently in his fifth year as a member of the UFC roster, Dan Miller (14-6-0-1NC) will be looking to give Mein the roughest possible welcome to the world’s elite organization. Having spent his entire career in the UFC as a middleweight, Miller made the drop to 170lbs this past summer following a hard run of form that saw him lose five of his last seven contests at 185lbs. He is known for having great wrestling and grappling and these skills played a vital role in his successful welterweight debut which saw him submit Ricardo Funch in the third round.

One of the world’s hottest young prospects, Jordan Mein (26-8-0) comes to the UFC with a bag of experience that exceeds his years. At just 23 years of age he has had 34 professional contests and has fought and defeated some of the world’s best. The Canadian youngster has a well-rounded skill set, a lot of power and a slick ground game. He currently is in fine form having won eight of his last nine fights, defeating the likes of Joe Riggs, Josh Burkman, Marius Zaromskis, Evangelista Santos and Forrest Petz along the way. Mein is also a known finisher and has only ever gone the distance five times.

UFC 158 takes place 16th March from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is expected to be headlined by a welterweight title fight between Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz. The card will play a huge role in the 170lb division and currently features ten fighters from the weight class.
