A light heavyweight bout will headline the UFC’s return to the UK, as British fighter Jimi Manuwa will take on Corey Anderson in a five round affair

The 205lbs fight had already been previously announced, however the promotion confirmed late Sunday that the contest will headline UFC Fight Night 107, which is scheduled for March 18th at the o2 Arena in London

The UFC was last at the o2 Arena in February 2016, with an event headlined by a middleweight bout between Anderson Silva and Michael Bisping which saw Bisping defeat Silva via five round unanimous decision

Manuwa, thirty six years old, will be looking to build on an impressive knockout victory over Ovince St Preux last time out, while Brit fighter holds an overall mixed martial arts record of 16-2 including notable wins over the likes of Jan Blachowicz, Ryan Jimmo Cyrille Diabate during his four year UFC tenure

American Anderson, twenty seven years of age, has a current overall mixed martial arts record of 9-2 and is also coming off a stoppage victory in his last Octagon appearance, with a UFC-specific record of 6-2

Also signed for UFC 107 is Brad Pickett’s retirement fight against Henry Briones at bantamweight, a welterweight contest between Leon Edwards and Vicente Luque and a middleweight Tom Breese and Oluwale Bamgbose
