Last week we reported that nine fighters had been released from the UFC and this week we bring the news that another four have been released from the company this past Friday.

One of the four fighters released from the promotion in Pedro Nobre (14-1-2-2NC) who competed last week on UFC on FX: Belfort vs. Bisping. During that fight Nobre was “injured” by shots deemed illegal which were in fact perfectly legal and could not continue.

The fight was stopped ruled a no contest and Nobre was helped back to the locker room. The majority of fans, and Dana White himself, called shenanigans and it was expected that he would soon be released from the promotion.

Another fighter released from the company is Josh Janousek (8-1-0) whose release comes just weeks after signing and before he actually got to compete in the promotion.

It was reported on the 13th January that Janousek had signed with the promotion as a late replacement to become Michael Kuiper’s fourth opponent for this past Saturday’s UFC on Fox: Johnson vs. Dodson however just eight days later he pulled from the contest himself and that has earned him his walking papers.

The other two fighters released from the promotion are Byron Bloodworth (6-3-0) who lost both of two UFC contests by TKO and also WEC veteran Ken Stone (11-4-0) who had a two fight win streak inside the promotion snapped this past August when he was knocked out by Eric Perez in just seventeen seconds.
