Josh Koscheck has sustained an unspecified injury and is out of his Bellator 158 co-headliner opposite bitter rival Paul Daley

Koscheck was set to rematch with British fighter Daley in the co-main event of Bellator 158 on July 16th in London at the o2 Arena in what is to be the promotion’s UK debut but the fight has been scrapped, with Daley now instead facing Douglas Lima in the co-main event

Brazilian Lima is a former Bellator welterweight champion and holds an overall mixed martial arts record of 26-6

Koscheck and Daley first fought back in May 2010 at UFC 113 in a bout Koscheck won via unanimous decision, with Daley attempting but failing to punch Koscheck after the bout was over in a move that earned British fighter Daley an instant firing from the promotion and lifetime ban from ever fighting under the UFC banner

With this latest injury withdrawal Bellator 158 has now lost its two original main events, as due to the death Kimbo Slice on Monday, the event lost its originally-slated heavyweight main event of Slice taking on Britain’s James Thompson

In notable fights currently signed for the Bellator 158 main card, undefeated British prospect Michael Page puts his undefeated 10-0 record on the line against Brazilian veteran Evangelista Santos in a welterweight tussle, while light heavyweight Brit Linton Vassell takes on France’s Francis Carmont
