A lightweight fight has been pulled from this weekend’s UFC on Fox 7 card as the fight between Norman Parke and Jon Tuck has been scrapped.

The fight was pulled after Tuck suffered an undisclosed injury and with very little timeframe to find a replacement, the UFC instead decided to pull the fight.

The fight would have served as the first for Parke (17-2-0) since he defeated Colin Fletcher to win TUF: The Smashes this past December.

Parke also took to his official Facebook page to break the news.

Tuck (7-0-0) made his successful UFC debut last November when he defeated Tiequan Zhang.

Parke vs. Tuck was expected to be part of the FX portion of the card but now a Facebook prelim will be moved up the card.

UFC on Fox 7 takes place this Saturday and is headlined by a lightweight title fight between Benson Henderson and Gilbert Melendez.
