The main events for UFC 213 have been signed and confirmed, with the July 8th event scheduled to feature two title bouts as headline attractions

The July pay-per-view is annually one of the biggest events on the UFC calendar, which is reflected in the depth of the main card for UFC 213

Women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is set to defend her title as she takes on number one contender Valentina Shevchenko in a rematch from their March 2016 bout, which Nunes won via unanimous decision

This will be Nunes’ first title defence since defeating Ronda Rousey via TKO in less than a minute to win the championship back in December in the main event of UFC 207

The main event is a replacement for the originally scheduled main event of bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt defending his title against contender TJ Dillashaw, a fight which has had to be scrapped this week due to Garbrandt sustaining a back injury

Additionally, announced just yesterday night is a co-main event interim middleweight championship fight between number one ranked Yoel Romero and third ranked Robert Whitaker, with the winner gaining the interim 185lbs title as well as obviously being in line for a unification bout possibly sometime later this year

Also signed and confirmed for the UFC 213 main card is a welterweight tilt between eight ranked Donald Cerrone and former divisional champion Robbie Lawler, with both looking to rebound from loses last time out

Also on the UFC 213 main card is a top heavyweight bout between number one ranked Fabricio Werdum and number three ranked Alistair Overeem with the Brazilian and Dutchman looking to build on victories in their last Octagon outings

Rounding out the five fight main card is a lightweight contest as Anthony Pettis takes on Jim Miller
