The second ever women’s fight has been booked for this April as Meisha Tate looks set to take on Cat Zingano at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale.

Meisha Tate (13-3-0) returns to action for the second time since losing her Strikeforce title after being submitted by Ronda Rousey almost a year ago. Prior to that loss she was on a six fight win streak with victories over the likes of Marloes Coenen and Zolia Gurgel. Tate has a strong wrestling background and has developed an excellent submission game also.

Currently undefeated in her career to date, Cat Zingano (7-0-0) will be keen to get the biggest win of her career to date in this fight. She is a well-rounded fighter who enters each and every fight inside the given time-limit. She has finished all but one of her fights to date, with three coming by (T)KO and three by submission.

The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale is expected to take place from The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada.
