A middleweight fight has been added to this March’s OMMAC 16 as Valentino Petrescu takes on Lee Chadwick in a title eliminator.

Last scene as a part of Team UK in TUF: The Smashes, Valentino Petrescu (12-2-0) returns to official competition for the first time since 2011. During his time on TUF: The Smashes he was one of the more featured members of the time and showed that he is a powerful striker and a very intense competitor. He is a natural finisher and has stopped nine of his opponents with six coming by (T)KO and three by submission.

One of the divisions’ most experienced fighters, Lee Chadwick (13-10-1) made a successful return to 185lbs last year following a brief spell in the light heavyweight division. He is a submission specialist by trade however he is not lacking in the striking department and has the power to stop people with his fists as well as his submissions. Chadwick has spent his entire career competing against some of the best fighters in the UK and Europe and owns victories against the likes of Cathal Pendred, Matt Howard and Stu Tyrie.

OMMAC 16 takes place 2nd March from The Olympia in Liverpool and is headlined by a lightweight title fight between Martin Stapleton and Chris Hoban. The Fight Lounge has also learned that the event will feature a four man flyweight tournament and we shall reveal the details of this later today.
